Construction

Chipman Glasser, LLC represents clients on construction issues throughout the west. Our clients include private and public property owners, restoration contractors, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, lenders, developers, construction managers and design professionals. Our construction industry experience spans project planning; contracting and litigating disputes. We are familiar with all forms of contracts, including American Institute of Architects (“AIA”) contracts, design build agreements, and teaming agreements. And we work hard to resolve potential problems at the drafting stage so that our clients avoid costly litigation that could otherwise derail a project. When disputes do arise, however, we draw on our experience in the courtroom and our knowledge of the industry to partner with clients as they make project-by-project decisions and handle any incidental disputes in the most cost-efficient manner.

Chipman Glasser, LLC’s attorneys keep current on legislative changes and court decisions affecting construction law. And our work in construction law includes the following:

  • Insured Restoration Projects
  • Mechanic’s Lien Foreclosure
  • Construction Contract Disputes
  • Payment And Performance Bonds
  • Delay Claims
  • Warranty Claims
  • Design Deficiencies
  • Trust Fund Claims
  • Miller Act and Little Miller Act Claims
  • Roofing Failures
  • Construction Defects
