Background

Alex is a seasoned litigator who began his career in finance, having come up in a family of bankers and accountants. Alex has drawn on these experiences while litigating white-collar criminal defense and complex commercial disputes involving financial institutions, business professionals, and financial assets.

Alex is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he focused on practical training through trial and appellate advocacy, mock trial and moot court, and internships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office (Major Crimes Unit) and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office (Narcotics Unit). He also represented low-income clients in Penn’s civil practice clinic.

Following law school, Alex built a broad litigation practice spanning civil and criminal matters across jurisdictions. He began at Lowenstein Sandler (NYC), later joined Greenberg Traurig (Miami), and ultimately served as a federal prosecutor with the DOJ in Nashville. With nearly eight years at top law firms and experience as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Alex is skilled in courtroom advocacy and complex investigations. While ready to win in court, Alex regularly investigates internal client matters and advises clients to accomplish what he considers his best victories – keeping clients out of government scrutiny, away from regulatory exposure, and avoiding costly and inefficient litigation.

Outside the office, Alex participates in a range of outdoor activities year-round. He is passionate about exploring, meeting new people, and immersing himself in other cultures, having traveled to more than 50 countries and lived on four continents, along with speaking several languages beyond English.
