On June 27, 2023, Chipman Glasser, LLC obtained a complete defense verdict in a complex commercial litigation matter tried in the Denver District Court. The plaintiffs asserted more than $12 million in damages on claims for breach of contract, fraud, fraudulent omission, fraudulent transfer, abuse of process, and alter ego stemming from the failed purchase and sale of an unfinished hotel property near the Denver International Airport. Following a six-day jury trial, Chipman Glasser, LLC attorneys Daniel W. Glasser and Jennifer Osgood obtained a defense verdict on all of the plaintiffs’ claims.
Daniel W. Glasser said that the verdict was “a gratifying outcome for every member of our team who was involved in this case. The litigation was fast-tracked to the point that our firm had roughly four months to prepare a defense against claims the plaintiffs’ lawyers had been working on for almost four years. As a result, our people had to work extremely hard, and I am proud—not only of the outcome we achieved—but of the teamwork that went into this case.”
