Background

Ms. Senior recently joined the firm after practicing for eight years at a large litigation powerhouse in Chicago, Illinois. She is admitted to practice in Colorado and Illinois. She represents clients in a variety of complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and mediations. Ms. Senior has particular experience with high-stakes contract disputes, business torts, insurance coverage litigation and counseling, class action defense, and securities law.

Representative Cases

Ms. Senior has helped clients pursue and defend their interests in these representative cases, among others:

  • Represented public company in defeating shareholder class action at trial level and on appeal, and in defending against related government investigations, concerning alleged securities violations
  • Counseled public company and individuals in responding to shareholder derivative claims for alleged breaches of fiduciary duty and shareholder books and records demands
  • Assisted trustee in pursuing dismissal of, and defending against class certification, in suit alleging mishandling of trust funds
  • Advised companies in resolving insurance claims, including, for example, arbitration of claims under directors and officers liability policy, and mediation of claims relating to business interruption coverage under property policy and claims relating to tortious interference counts under commercial general liability policies
  • Counseled nonprofit media company in seeking insurance coverage for privacy related claims and in pursuing FOIA requests
  • Represented two separate companies in connection with claims for breach of contract and theft of trade secrets against former employees or business partners
  • Represented human trafficking victims in seeking recovery of unpaid wages
